Getting frustrated. Every time I add a new layer, I paint for 20 minutes, turn the layer off, and realize the painting was better before I changed it. I've tried adding all kinds of boats and structures, but I fail to fit them into the landscape in a way I like. Mostly I'm failing to get the right value and color, and whatever I add doesn't seem to belong. Probably due to the fact that I'm using a color palette from multiple images, neither of which have any type of structures or boats.

I like this keep going. My eye keeps slipping off the left side of the page. put something there where the descending masses are leading me... and make it good!
