Great work! love the dynamic angle and textures you've used. The water looks much more convincing in the redo..less smudge tooly :) I wonder if more mist around the waterfall would look good.
Yeah, I went way overboard on the smudge tool and lost the motion I had originally built up. Oh well, live and learn. Yes more mist might help... I may take this a little further, I have an idea for the top of the waterfall that I may pursue.
You are getting good with foliage :p I dig the story and drama you're creating - would like to see how it would look with the top of the waterfall. Also, I think it has more impact in the original even if a bit smudgy.
