I really like the mast peg leg

Agreed, the mast is very clever - and adds scale to what might otherwise be a strict concept piece. Very good craftsmanship but don't let that limit your experimentation with shapes.

i'd like to see the whatever took off part of cthulu's leg. must've been an epic battle.

I had a hard time finding a way to incorporate scale without illusrtating a whole piece (which I stuggled with). I don't think the crows nest was successful for scale...but maybe humor. About his leg being removed...I just figured after centuries of terrorizing even a giant is prone to a few battle scars

I dig the colors. Adding a stronger light source for dramatic effect and crop your image a bit differently so that he's not smack dab in the middle would def help it.

Should have just gone all the way and made it a pirate Cthulhu! I actually thought of doing a construction worker Cthulhu.
